Ayperi, the former Artistic Director of El Genneyya Bellydancing troupe, former President and Show Coordinator for the UW Bellydancing Club, the owner of Ayperi Bellydance, and the Assistant Artistic Director for Ashar Dance Company, has trained in Middle Eastern dance since 2001 with reknown dancers Mona N'wal, Jim Boz, Rachel Brice, and Suhaila Salimpour. Ayperi is known for her enthusiastic, technically impressive, "mesmerizing" bellydancing performances, as well as her veil work and innovative choreographies. Ayperi highlights a movement background in musical theater, Bhangra, Bollywood fusion, and ballet with unique bellydancing fusions. Ayperi offers classes in Beginner, Continuing, and Intermediate Bellydancing classes and workshops through the Social Life Dance Center and Dance Fabulous and performs regularly at The Casbah Restaurant in Madison, WI.
